* Next door to OCAD is the Art Gallery of Ontario, which is currently hosting the exhibit [http://ago.ca/exhibitions/kusama Infinity Mirrors by Yayoi Kusama]. If you're interested in visiting while you're in town, you will need to get your tickets in advance from the AGO website as there are only a very limited amount of same day tickets available.

===Accommodations===
The organizers have reserved a block of rooms at University of Toronto's Chestnut Residence, which is a 5 minute walk from OCAD. To receive the conference rate, reservations must be made by April 13, 2018.

Rooms cost $119/night + HST and include a full buffet breakfast. Reservations can be made by emailing frontdesk.chestnut@utoronto.ca or calling 416-977-0707, Ext 0 and referring to the Code4Lib North to get the discounted rate. Cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance and a credit card number will be required to hold the space. All rooms are private with ensuite washroom, linen and towels are provided. The St. Patrick Street and McCaul Street entrances are both accessible. The 2nd floor Library can be reached via elevator G (located down the hallway from the Learning Zone). There are two single-use gender neutral washrooms in the Learning Zone and one more outside the second floor Library in addition to the two gendered, non-accessible washrooms. ===How to get in===

The main first floor entrance to Morisset Hall is currently under construction and will not be accessible during Code4Lib North.

Information on alternative entrances is [https://www.uottawa.ca/facilities/ucu-terrace available here], and the University has also [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq2j9H1_FTM produced a video version].

Code4Lib North is happening on the second floor of Morisset Hall in room MRT 248. This is on the administrative level of the library. If you are coming from the basement entrance, take two flights of stairs up to the entrance marked "Office of the Chief Librarian", walk past the reception desk and head for the large meeting room. We'll be posting as many signs as we can and will also have volunteers on site to point you the right way.

There is no public access to the second floor from inside the library itself.

===Accessible route into Morisset Library===

To access the library itself, as well as the breakout rooms in the Media Library by elevator:

Use the elevators from Level 0 in Morisset Hall (2nd floor elevators also go to 0). From 0, use the intercom to call the library. A staff member will answer and come down in the designated elevator to greet and accompany you back up to the library entrance.

We have a block of rooms reserved on campus between May 10th and May 13th. There are 10 single occupancy and 10 double occupancy rooms at a rate of 45$ a night, so buddying up is a pretty cheap option!

The University of Ottawa is located on the bus transitway (nearest station is Laurier). Buses accept Presto cards and cash ($3.40 per ride, $10.25 day pass).

From the airport: Bus 97 runs downtown every 15-20 mins.

From the Via Rail station: Buses 62 (direction: Terry Fox/Stittsville) and 61 (direction: Terry Fox/Stittsville) run at a high frequency.
