= = Code4Lib DMV (previously MDC - Washington D.C, Maryland, Virginia) ==We want to bring the code{4}lib experience to the library community in the Maryland, Washington , D.C etc. =, and the great Commonwealth of Virginia area. Our hope is that meeting at the regional level will strengthen local connections and help us develop more real-world collaboration.

In The group first formed in 2009, met quarterly beginning in fall 2011 and through the spirit end of Code4Lib2012, we want to bring this forum and once per year in 2014 and 2015. We've enjoyed a number of in depth technical presentations on a variety of topics. Meetings have been free to attend. Past host institutions have been NAL, the library software Smithsonian, GWU, Arlington Public Library, and web developers University of Maryland College Park. If you are in the Maryland and Washington area, please do feel free to drop in. Our meetings If you are open unable to make it in person, check with the whole library programming community. Our hope hosts to see if distance participation is that meeting at the regional level will strengthen our local connections and develops real world collaborative effortsan option.
