code4lib is a group for folks who are interested in the convergence of computers and library/information science. The group started as a [http://dewey.library.nd.edu/mailing-lists/code4lib/|discussion list], added an [http://code4lib.org/irc| irc] chat component, a [http://code4lib.org| website], a [http://planet.code4lib.org| blog aggregator], and now has grown to support an annual [http://code4lib.org/conference| conference].
