Greg Wilson

Greg Wilson is the co-founder of Software Carpentry, a volunteer organization that teaches basic computing skills to researchers in a wide range of disciplines. Greg has worked for 30 years in both industry and academia, and is the author or editor of several books on computing and two for children.

Paul Ford

Paul Ford is a Brooklyn-based writer and web technologist. He often writes about the web, archives programming, the nature of information, and living in the information age. Past projects include tilde.club and the semantic web-ified harpers.org (back in 2003). Ford's 30,000-word article What Is Code? was the entire June 11, 2015 issue of Bloomberg BusinessWeek.
