The deadline for entering designs has passed and new entries are no longer being accepted.

We are issuing an open call for a logo design that will be featured on the front of the Code4Lib 2021 Conference t-shirt. The winning logo will be chosen based on a popular vote, which will be held Jan. 18-21, 2021.

Designs should include the conference name (Code4Lib 2021) and are limited to a single color, by default a white logo on a black t-shirt. If you would prefer a color other than white, let us know in your explanatory text and it will be considered, but can not be guaranteed.

Deadline for entries: Jan. 13, 2021

All designs must be original and the intellectual property of the person entering the design and must be compliant with the conference code of conduct.

To enter your design please include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Explanatory text telling us about your design

A doodly idea aligning the ""o"" and ""i"" in ""Code{4}Lib 2021"" and ""ONLINE"", the former positioned over the latter, stretching the letters in the second line. Of course it needs to be vectorised, but I believe it is simple enough to do so quickly.

On a bed with a cat is a great way to attend from home/localhost. Probably would look best as gray on black (don't really want an all white guy). Art is my own. I have the SVG.

This is a play on the terminal window, as we will be at home.

A simple, typographic, monochrome logo that relies on the openly licensed Inconsolata typeface, negative space, and varied kerning.

A relevant symbol for our time.

This logo shows us separate in our own pods, brought together online in our code4lib2021 space. Covid Red on a light grey tee.

This design shows different technology folks might use to attend the online conference. There is a phone, keyboard, mouse, and tablet. The coffee mug and heart are purely for cuteness.
