- Define the IG's exact scope. We know that we plan to give recommendations for the general Code4Lib community to act upon, but some secondary goals could go hand-in-hand with that.
- Set an overall deadline for ourselves
- Set communications forums and meeting frequency.
- Identify areas of research and give tasks to people to investigate.
- Identify areas where we need to find an expert
