Directions & Parking

From the Train Station

Take the Yale red line shuttle (free) to the College / Wall St. stop. Cross College and walk down Wall St. toward High St. Take a left onto High St., then a right into the Library.

Coming by car

Grove St. Garage ($3.75 for first hour, $3.50 per hour after, $18 max per day)

Interstate 95
From the north: Connect to I-91 North in New Haven; take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street) and follow directions below for I-91.
From the south: Connect to I-91 North in New Haven (left exit); take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street) and follow directions below for I-91.

Interstate 91
From the north or south: Take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street). Turn left on Orange St. Turn right on Grove St. The Grove St garage is on the right.

*Walk down Grove St. to High St. Take a left on High St. and walk 1.5 blocks to Library entrance on right.


York St. Garage ($10 for 8am to 5pm, $17 max per day)

Interstate 91 - Merge onto Interstate 95 South and follow directions below.

Interstate 95 - From the north or south: Take exit 47 for the Oak Street Connector and head west. Turn right on York Street.

*Walk up York St. to Elm St. Take a right on Elm, walk one block, then take a left on High St. Walk 1/2 block to Library entrance on left.

Saturday parking is free!

Parking is free on Saturday in all Yale lots!
