[http://third-bit.com/about/ Greg Wilson] is the co-founder of [http://software-carpentry.org/about/ Software Carpentry], a volunteer organization that teaches computing skills to researchers in a wide range of disciplines. Greg has worked for 30 years in both the tech industry and academia, and is the author or editor of several books on computing (including [http://teachtogether.tech/ Teaching Tech Together], [http://js4ds.org/ JavaScript for Data Science], and [https://merely-useful.tech/py-rse/ Research Software Engineering with Python]) and two children's books. Greg is based in Toronto, ON.
