A "hyperlocal" Code4Lib chapter, which has been in existence since around 2010. While no one updated the wiki between 2019 and 2025, there were several events that took place.
We communicate via the chicode4lib Google group: chicode4lib@googlegroups.com. It doesn't have much traffic, but it's how we schedule events.
Sometimes we just gather for drinks and talk shop, other times we actually pull together a day of talks about local developments in digital libraries, library websites and other topics relevant to Code4Lib. If you're in/around Chicago and working on library technology-ish things, please join us!
