*NOTE/WARNING*: There is a bug in mongrel_cluster that will prevent mongrels from starting up again if your machine (or mongrels) die ungracefully leaving stale pids. See http://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/105849 for a fix. This fix wasn't included in the mongrel_cluster I installed, annoyingly; not sure if it's included in some distributions already.
